Gorgeous king room with fantastically comfortable bed. Stunning location right at city center. And only a 5-minute walk from Sixthof. Totally REAL GOOD stay on a business trip.

We liked this place - fabulous and comfortable hotel.
The property's location was beautiful and fantastic, in a garden. Moreover, it's just off the restaurant, the garden, the bowling alley and the Braeustueberl across the square and the church and the railway station.

The chocie of Breakfast goods was quite lovely, but honestly, it was overshadowed by the DAMN church bells ringing for 9 minutes at 6 am. Unfathomable! And, let's not even get started on how hot the room was with no air-conditioning. Honestly, I expected some special treatment for the inconvenience. Sadly, I just couldn't give a good review.

great stay with a few quirks
The room was spacious and very comfortable providing a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was a amazing experience with a variety of fresh baked goods and delectable local cheeses. The honesty bar was an enjoyable touch, allowing guests to help themselves and unwind in a cozy setting.
The church bells ringing at an early hour was quite disruptive.

Loved the cozy, country feel to this hotel. Very nicely decorated, rooms well appointed, lovely breakfast room and terrace with great breakfast options included. Great choice if you want the smaller, quaint village feel. Parking is available.
Though completely doable, it was a bit further than we thought to travel in to Munich for sightseeing. This is a very minor point though and we would choose this hotel again.

Nice village atmosphere, we chose to stay there and take the train into Munich (you can walk to the train station). There is parking, and it is less stressful than staying in the city. There are a number of places to eat including an excellent casual place right outside the restaurant. We really enjoyed the traditional and reasonably priced cuisine.
Like many hotels in Europe, no air-conditioning and it was a bit warm on the third floor.

Staying here with my family was a wonderful experience. The food was really good, especially the breakfast with its generous servings of charcuterie, cheese, and baked goods. The beer garden across the street was lively and a great spot to relax. The hotel also helped with our commute to Munich by providing train tickets at the front desk.

Loved the property - the look and feel is traditional, very tasteful high level Bavarian hospitality. We look forward to return to Aying.
There was a snafu at check-in regarding the size of the room we had booked. However the person at the reception was gracious and efficient, and the management took care of it right away so they truly turned a small lemon into a great lemonade.

We usually come here for a meal when we are in Munich. The hotel is in the country side but only 20 minutes from Munich if there is no traffic. This is a lovely, traditional hotel with beautiful, romantic rooms and immaculate attention to detail. The breakfast is great, with a wide choice of lovely fresh foods. Definitely book for dinner - the food is a little expensive, but really good and traditional with excellent service. It has a more casual outdoor area where you can lunch. I am not aware of public transport into Munich, so it does not work if you want to stay out of town and take transport into town - as we often do when travelling to a large city.
The hotel is the destination, though Aying is a sweet village it offers very little. We come here to eat and are happy to stay when passing through.

The food at Brauereigasthof-Hotel is great! The breakfast had a majestic spread with really good charcuterie and scrumptious baked goods. Plus, the traditional Bavarian charm shines through in every corner of the hotel.
But let's talk about the church bells ringing for NINE MINUTES at 6 AM! Even for Veterans Day, that seemed a bit excessive.
